Confused

Hi, I am confused by the info provided above. With a single ticket, you initially wrote that it can only be used once on the specific journey. Yet later , you wrote that one can transfer to another bus or train , as long as it is within the allowed zones time limit.

Which is right?

Hi Confused.

A ticket can be used on multiply forms of transport including metro, bus, train and water taxi. You can switch between the above including from bus to bus, etc. As long as you travel within the time limit on your ticket and within the allowed zones, you can travel on that single ticket.

For example: A 2 zone ticket (min. ticket you can buy), you can travel for 1 hour and 15 min and that can be used in any 2 adjoining zones. If you started in Copenhagen central which is zone 1, you can use your 2 zone ticket in zone 1 and 2, or you can use it in zone 1 and 3. Both zones 2 and 3 border on zone 1. If you need to travel further out you buy a 3 zone or up to 9 zones. Your ticket can be used in any 2 adjoining zones.

Hope that clears that up for you.

Charlie

It's true that you don't need the passport to cross the borders but, you do need a passport to identify your self to a police officer if they ask you.
