Bicycle Route 6 Esbjerg to Copenhagen

by Eliot

Hi, great site! My wife and I are planning a bike trip this summer in Denmark. I am interested in route 6 from Esbjerg to Copenhagen. I cannot find any information on how to get our bikes across the Store Bælt Bridge to continue our ride. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards, Eliot Maryland, USA

Hej Eliot,

You can not ride your bicycle across the Storbælt Bridge due to wind. It is deemed unsafe. The best method is to catch the train in Nyborg and take it to Korsør. (that is Jutland to Zealand) ... the cost in 2015 is 125kr per person including your bicycle. About a 10-12 minute trip.
