I am American expat with a wife and a daughter moving to hellerup on May 12th. I need to buy beds and things and have them delivered to my apartment right away. How long does IKEA take to deliver. Please Email me with ant info I could use. We plan on staying in Denmark for at least 5 years unless all that I have read is not true. all your input would be appreciated.

IKEA has a delivery service that can have your items out to you the same day. It is a courier service and unless it is a VERY busy time of year, you can get delivery within 24 hours - most times same day unless you shop late in the day.

Other furniture places also offer similar services.
