Over clipped by accident

Hi, I accidently clipped my klippercort three times more than I should have at Kobenhavn H to go to Helsingor. I am aware that it is entirely my fault for that confusion, but is there any way of getting some sort of compensation from the railways as four separate members of staff had said id be able to sort it out, but when I finally got somewhere to talk to someone from DSB, he told me that there is a supposed 15 minute reimbursement policy (Which is not advertised anywhere) and that it was impossible, but that I could write to DSB First. I am more annoyed at being messed around by staff today tan anything else. IS there anything I can do?

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do but visit the ticket office in København main train station. Explain to them what happened and try to be calm. If you get a sympathetic employee they may give you a new card or give you some compensation. Since you already traveled and did not get any documentation from a DSB staff member, it is your word without any concrete proof.

Good news is that they are very accomodating to tourists and if you explain that you are a tourist and that this was your first time, they might be more willing to assist. They do not want bad press, especially right now with their Swedish DSB First fiasco.
