Dog Parks in Denmark

Great and interesting web site. We are waiting to hear if my husband is successful in relocating from Qatar in the Arabian Gulf!!!! We will be bringing our two big dogs who need lots of exercise, are there many " dog friendly" parks/open spaces/beaches that we can take them to? Kind regards

Response: Since I have no idea where you are planning on move in Denmark, this question would be hard to answer honestly. There are lots of parks in Denmark, but may not be one in your area. Dogs are not allowed to run free - there is a leash law. You are also responsible for collecting all your dogs refuse in a plastic bag and deposing of it properly. Dogs can not run free on the beach, in parks or any public areas.

Suggest getting a bicycle and taking your dog for a run alongside you or a good pair of running shoes if your dog needs to do a lot of running. Letting your dog run free could easily garner you a hefty fine or fines.
