Does the 24-hour klippekort expire at 12:00 midnight, or does it really good for 24 hours from the start time?

Question:

If I activate my 24-hour klippekort at 17:00 on Day 1, does it expire at 12:00 midnight on Day 1 or is it good until 17:00 on Day 2? Please advise.

Answer: It is good for 24 hours from the time you clip the card. If your card shows clipped at 17.03 on May 24, 2011, you can travel on it til 17:03 on May 25, 2011. Your trip must be completed by that time. If your last stop gets you there at 17:05, you can be fined.

It does not stop at midnight - it is based on 24 hour time period - not a calender day.
