Not familiar with a yellow card unless you are talking about the CPR card, which happens to be yellow. You can not really track your residency process. You can write and ask about it, but there response is usually that it is in the works. Timelines are pretty much irrelevant - depends on your application, what they need to check, any problems verifying information, etc., so each application can vary in length. Contact the immigration department that you sent your form to and ask them for a status update. I have no access to that kind of information.
